The Prayer Of Saint Francis

Lord make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
And where there is sadness, joy.
O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive-
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

Jaroslav, when I first saw and heard the song on your blog I was brought to tears. I worked all day trying to figure out how you were able to get WMP on your site with that song, which by the way is not currently on iTunes, so I'm out today to buy the CD if I can find it.

To answer your question, I'm not sure how to get WMP to link to a song, but I'm working on it.

Last night, while I was updating my blog on the lastest news from this tragedy, I listened to that song probably 15 times--just beautiful.

Thank you so much for leading me to this most incredible song. I love Sarah's work, but did not know she had sung this piece--for that I thank you very, very much.

Wonderful prayer by a wonderful saint. I love St. Francis. His prayer is one I rely on when I note my own weakness.

The song is beautiful. I have always thought Sara M. has a beautiful voice. I prefer John Michael Talbot's version of the Peace Prayer. Have you heard it?

The songs on your site seem to skip a little and get stuck. I have no idea what to do about that, sorry! I would help if I could.

No I have not heared John Michael Talbot's version of the Peace Prayer and this song from Sara and just Sara first off all in my life.
And what about songs- try the subsequent links, but I am afraid it can be a problem with your plugins.

Amy, Talbot has a beautiful spiritual voice and the Peace Prayer is fabulous. Good choice.
